01 / Get your bearings
Left-click selects units or buildings. Drag a box for multiple units; Shift adds to selection. Right-click moves, attacks visible enemies or repairs friendlies with engineers. A then click issues attack-move; S stops. Double-click a unit selects visible units of that type.
02 / Build an industry
Your mine produces steel, coal and credits. The refinery extracts oil and makes fuel. Power stations burn coal: low power slows production. Build more industry near deposits before the initial seams run dry.
03 / Prepare the ground
Select your bulldozer and press F or “Level terrain”, then click a patch. It levels a 3×3 area to the centre tile's height, costing 4 credits per height step. Repeat overlapping patches for factories or airfields. Buildings need flat, clear ground within 13 tiles of your base.
04 / Keep the column alive
Every vehicle burns fuel moving. Trucks automatically refuel units within 3½ tiles; replenish trucks at your command centre or repair depot. Command centres, repair depots, airfields and naval yards refuel nearby units. Depots and engineers repair damage using steel. Survivors gain veterancy and extra damage.
05 / Combined arms
Select a factory or barracks, then Production to queue units. The research bureau unlocks heavier tanks, artillery, aircraft and warships. Airfields launch planes, which return when fuel is low. Naval yards need flat shore within 5 tiles of water. Ships remain in the river and pass beneath the central bridge; ground troops cross above.
06 / Command shortcuts
Arrows / WASD pan · Wheel zoom · H base · Space pause · Esc cancel tool · Ctrl+1–9 assign group / 1–9 recall. Right-click a production building's rally point to send new units there. Minimap clicks jump the camera.
